My Favorite Rituals for the Libra New Moon

Romance Yourself. Return to Balance. Reclaim the Inner Beloved.
The Libra New Moon arrives on October 21, 2025 with an invitation to romance yourself.
Ruled by Venus, the planet of beauty, art, relationships, and sensual love, Libra season softens our edges and brings us back into balance—between giving and receiving, between self and other, between doing and simply being.
This new moon is about seducing your own spirit back into your body.
It’s about remembering that love begins with you—and that you are worthy of that love simply because you exist.
This new moon is an opportunity to honor ourselves as the inner beloved and to embrace our deepest romantic nature.
When we romance ourselves, we’re not being frivolous—we’re practicing a sacred act of devotion. We’re telling our bodies, “You matter. I’m here. I choose to love you.”
Below are some of my favorite rituals for this deeply feminine, pleasure-filled Libra new moon. Let them inspire your own rhythm. Let your senses lead the way.
Anoint Yourself with Essential Oils
Let the ritual of anointing become an act of reverence.
Choose an essential oil that speaks to your heart—rose, sandalwood, jasmine, or ylang ylang. Place a drop on your third eye, your heart, your womb, and your inner wrists. Move slowly. Whisper a blessing as you do.
“I anoint myself in beauty. I am the beloved I’ve been waiting for.”
Lather Your Body with Love
After bathing or before bed, take time to lather your skin with creamy body butter or oil. Don’t rush. Move with devotion. As you massage, speak directly to your body:
“I bless you. I’m here for you. You matter.”
This ritual restores intimacy with the temple you live in. It is healing, sensual, and grounding.
Redesign Your Meditation Practice
Make your meditation devotional and alluring. Reimagine your altar. Bring in cozy pillows and blankets. Light a candle. Drape yourself in something soft. Let it be beautiful.
Sit in luxurious silence with yourself—not to achieve anything, but simply to feel.
This is not performance. It is presence.
Buy Yourself Flowers
Buy a bouquet that catches your eye. Place them on your altar or your bedside. Breathe in their sweetness. Let yourself be moved by their color, texture, and fragrance—just because you can.
You are a woman of beauty. Surround yourself with it.
Take a Bubble Bath
This is my personal favorite. Draw a warm bath and add Epsom salts, rose petals, and a few drops of essential oil. Let the water hold you.
Release your day. Let go of roles. Slip back into your true self.
You don’t need a reason to rest. Rest is sacred.
Drink Cacao and Pray
Make a warm cup of ceremonial cacao, and speak your prayers into the steam.
Ask:
What is longing to be felt?
What beauty wishes to move through me?
How can I return to balance in my life?
Let cacao open your heart. Let your prayers become poetry.
Sing, Laugh, Cry
Let yourself express. Libra may be refined, but Venus does not shy away from emotion. Sing. Dance. Laugh. Cry. Feel.
Your tears and your joy are both sacred.
Be Seen in Sacred Conversation
Drop in with a dear friend. Share your heart. Let yourself be witnessed and held in the sweetness of true connection.
One of the deepest forms of healing is letting yourself be seen exactly as you are—unpolished, vulnerable, real.
A Final Blessing
May this Libra New Moon be a reminder: You are the love you’ve been seeking.
You are worthy of beauty.
You are worthy of soft moments.
You are worthy of your own tenderness.
Romance yourself. Fall in love again—this time, with you.

May self-love and romance abound.
May balance return.
And may your heart open wide to receive it all.
