GEntle YOGA LED BY MEREDITH ROM
This class is designed to connect us to our innate body wisdom and invite a state of healing through allowing ourselves to "just be" throughout the practice. We hold the postures longer to lubricate the joints and connective tissues of the body, balance the meridians, and meet ourselves with compassion, acceptance, forgiveness and self-love. At the beginning and end of class we will sing mantras with the sound of the harmonium to open our voices and create a therapeutic and unifying vibration.
Meredith Rom is a yoga teacher, women’s leadership coach and host of the Rising Women Leaders podcast. Her mission is to support others to create a foundation of love within and for themselves, to live beyond their fears, and truly share their greatest gifts with the world. After graduating from NYU in 2010 she followed her intuition to Northern California where she now teaches yoga and mentors women to rise in courage, self-love and feminine leadership.
"Meredith’s classes are an interweaving of personal inquiry and physical practice."
“While her guidance is gentle, she has a way of luring me quite deep in exploration of my mental, emotional, and physical states, while helping me build trust in myself as a safe container for that exploration to happen. She has a deep knowledge of yoga philosophy and asana, and she’s also a lifelong student – I love that she brings so much of her personal practice into her classes to share. I trust her teachings both because of her expertise and because of her courageous willingness to be vulnerable. She helps me dive more lovingly and wisely into my human being, and for that, I am ever grateful!”

yoga nidra LED BY KAREN PROSEN
Yoga nidra, or “yogic deep sleep” is a practice of subtle awareness and progressive inner attention used to soften the impact of our samskaras or “imprints”, clearing space towards awakening. In this session we explore all that springtime offers through seeding our intentions, and watching them bloom through a visceral connection to the wisdom of the body. We utilize the consciousness of the breath and the sacred song of the heart to step into the new season with celebration in every cell.
Karen Prosen is a guide for your spirited life. She is a ceremonialist and mentor integrating yoga, Buddhist philosophy, social justice and heart-centered, somatic meditation into her work with individuals and groups. She meets with local clients one-on-one in Sonoma County, CA, host retreats and leads programs for women online. Trained as a clinical therapist emphasizing mindfulness, she is a yogini at heart. She supports people to treat their bodies as temples, become living vessels and walk on the pilgrimage of life lighter and more joyful than ever.
“Karen has been a beautiful inspiration and light in my life, Every word of wisdom she have shared has resonated with me whole heartedly. I love that she is so passionate about helping women. I love how she does this without any fear and how I have felt her unconditional love towards us all, there is never any judgement with her and she creates such an accepting and compassionate space. I have felt so heard by her. She leads the way to becoming more connected in this life.”

"Everything is organic, seasonal, as local as possible, and follows the principles of Ayurveda. I always chant mantras when I cook and deeply value sattvic preparation and serving of the food."
"The spring retreat was powerful and made me realize that I've been living out of touch with my body at a time when I really need to be reconnecting.
I knew I had been led to go. It was the most relaxed I've felt in a long time, maybe years. The past couple of days since the retreat I've found that I've carried the sense of calm with me. It's allowed me to tap back into a part of myself that I had buried for so long. The retreat reminded me how important it is to fully take breaks sometimes so that I CAN be more present and of actual service when it's time to work.
Thank you for creating a space that allowed me to reconnect to parts of myself that I had left behind years ago.
It was so amazing to feel a full-circle connection to my true nature. After that day, I came away with a whole new perspective on what things I wanted to give my energy to, and what was sucking energy from me. I have felt, ever since, so much more balanced and relaxed. That day at the retreat was the first time I felt like I truly let go of struggling."
